Domestic Toilet Buildings
Crafted from beautiful, termite-resistant Red Cedar with a durable Colorbond roof, the buildings are designed to combine natural charm with long-lasting performance.
Supplied in an easy-to-assemble kit, they feature pre-made panels in raw timber (not stained or painted), giving you the freedom to choose the finish that best suits your style.
By default, the unit comes without a floor and can be installed directly on a concrete slab or paved area.
For sites with uneven ground, we also offer a subfloor option, that minimaly elevatis the building off the ground and includes:
Treated Pine Framing
Yellow-tongue Flooring
Treated Pine Posts
For installations requiring additional height — such as when fitting a split composting toilet tank beneath — we offer an elevation kit, inlcuding the subfloor option and a set of sturdy stairs mounted on steel supports and higher posts. Two elevation kit sizes are available:
Short Elevation Kit – raises the building up to 700mm
Tall Elevation Kit – raises the building up to 1050mm
With these flexible options, the Windsor can be adapted to suit a wide range of sites and applications.
Prices don’t include freight or assembly, if applicable.

FAQs
100% it will! We have real estate agents recommending cedar sheds to customers who are about to put their home on the market as they know the extra money they get for their home will be far more than what the cedar shed cost in the first place. Don’t wait until your about to sell your home though. 😊
The buildings come standard without a floor. If you have a concrete slab or a level paved area, you can assemble your shed directly on that. If your ground is uneven, the subfloor kit is the best option. It comes with 750mm posts so the floor can be levelled and suspended. It is recommended that the posts are concreted 400–500mm into the ground for stability. If your ground is very out of level, you may need longer posts — just let us know in the order comments or give us a call to discuss. The subfloor kit also saves you the cost of contractors for earthworks or laying a slab, making it an efficient and affordable base for your shed.
Use 1 concrete anchor per panel join, fix through the base plate into the slab.
In that case, the elevation kit is the solution. We offer a short elevation kit, which raises the building by up to 700mm and is ideal for low-profile toilets, as well as a tall elevation kit, which raises it up to 1050mm. This ensures there are options to suit all split-system toilets in our range. Our self-contained models, on the other hand, can be installed with the building directly at ground level.
We would recommend staining or painting your cedar shed. However, if you don’t, it does not compromise the durability of the product. If left uncoated, over time the product will weather to a silvery grey colour. If you are painting your cedar shed to match the colour of your house we would recommend undercoating it with an oil based primer. If you are staining your shed we recommend Intergrain Ultra deck Timber Stain in Light Oak colour which is available from most major hardware stores or paints stores.
The roof comes standard in Monument. You can also elect Surf Mist at no additional cost, or choose from other Colorbond® colours for a fee.
We are 99.9% certain your shed will never be attacked by termites. All framing used is treated pine and the cedar is naturally termite resistant. If you ever have issues with termites attacking your shed this is all covered by our 10 year warranty.
Our cedar shed kits are a very enjoyable DIY experience. The kit comes with pre-made panels that simply screw together.
Our usual lead time is around 3 weeks from receiving cleared funds. For more specific timeframes, please contact us and we’ll be happy to advise.
