Split Systems are the largest type of batch composting toilet, offering great capacity. In a split system, the compost treatment tank/chamber is below the bathroom floor. Therefore a larger composting container (which equates to a larger composting capacity) is used.

All you see in the toilet room itself is the modern looking toilet pedestal (“throne”).

As a batch system, capacity can be increased just by adding more spare composting chambers (2 containers included as standard). These can be added at purchase, or if the need arises. Each extra container increases the capacity by 100%.
